Purpose of Scouting
It's not just a youth club!

Over the 90 years of Scouting in Morpeth there have been numerous
Scout Groups at various times, and the two which thrive today are the
4th Morpeth & 6th Morpeth.

Each operate independently with their own meeting places.

HQ building: new & old
4^th Morpeth Scout Group owns its own HQ building at
Low Stanners, and offers Scouting in all the Sections:  

Beavers: 6 to 8 yrs             Cub Scouts: 8 to 10½ yrs
Scouts: 10½  to 14 yrs      Explorer Scouts 14 to 18 yrs

We have spare ground outside our home building, which is very useful
especially in summer. Because we are growing so much in numbers,
we are aiming to extend the building as soon as we can.
